Spend a Weekend and Experience the Magic of Winadu

Discovery Camp offers a chance to experience first-hand what a summer at Winadu is all about while camp is in full swing. This is open to boys entering 1st through 3rd grades, who are interested in attending sleep-away camp for the following summer. Campers enjoy making new friends and participating in all the sports and fun activities that Camp Winadu offers. Discovery Camp campers stay in designated camp cabins and are supervised by experienced Winadu staff members. We hope you’ll come and join our team for an exciting, fun-filled adventure.

Clothing and Transportation

A packing list will be provided. A Discovery Camp t-shirt will be distributed to campers upon arrival and is included in the tuition fee.  Roundtrip transportation will be provided. (Within the tri-state area)

Discovery Camp Activities

Over the weekend you will get to experience a variety of new activities that you have never tried before. Here are only some of our programs you will participate in:

  • Soccer and Baseball instruction
  • Basketball and Tennis clinics
  • Fun at the Lake: Tubing, waterskiing, sailing and using our water trampoline
  • Have a great time playing flag football and Lacrosse
  • Selective period – choose from: woodshop, archery, rocketry, fencing, karate, ropes, or arts & crafts
