"It's a Girls World" at Camp Danbee

Our Sister camp, Camp Danbee is located in Hinsdale, Massachusetts, only 20 minutes away from Winadu. The top-notch facilities, which support Danbee's quality instructional program, include: 2 heated swimming pools, equestrian center, 12 all-weather tennis courts, comprehensive “state of the art” gymnastics center and dance studios, picturesque lakefront, creative arts studios, multi-purpose athletic fields and fully-equipped health center, and a the new Field House with “Field Turf”.

Personal attention is ensured by Danbee's low (1:3) camper/counselor ratio, while the emphasis on skill development and participation over competition gives girls a chance to succeed, to build self-confidence, and to grow at their own pace.

Danbee is a place where girls grow through the power of friendship and community. There is real value in simply having fun and experiencing life through varied experiences and bonding friendships. Danbee creates a culture of inclusiveness and kindness. The special friendships that Danbee girls create each summer are the most important thing the girls take away from camp. An emphasis on values, not appearances, girl power, and community combine to create Danbee’s unique well-rounded summer family.

Brothers and sisters visit each other for weekly lunches. Danbee and Winadu campers get together a few times a summer for age-appropriate activities.
