Rookie Days

While parents tour camp, “rookies” can experience a fun-filled day at Winadu participating in activities with their age group. Rookies will enjoy a wide range of activities, including instruction in team and individual sports, swimming and lake activities and traditional camp games. Rookie Days are scheduled throughout the summer and are a great way to experience camp.

Typical Schedule for Parents and Rookies

10:15am       Families arrive

10:30am       Rookie campers join the group for the day

10:30am       Rookie campers join the group for the day

11:30am       Official Welcome / Q&A with Directors

12:15pm       Parents depart for lunch and fun activities in town

 3:30pm        Parent return to camp and meet campers under the tent

 4:00pm        Parents and campers depart after a great day!

Come dressed ready to play and be prepared to have fun!!
