Camp Winadu Sports - Baseball
Our baseball program is geared to players of all abilities. We teach our youngest campers the proper way to throw and catch. We offer four clinics – catching, pitching, hitting and fielding – that provide daily, focused instruction. For example, a boy who takes our catching clinic will learn every aspect of the position, from blocking the plate, to framing a pitch to throwing out a runner. Our hitting clinic features live pitching, machine pitching, soft toss and the hitting tee.
Believe it or not, some of our first-time campers have never played organized baseball. In fact, many come to camp and do not know how to throw, catch or hit. We teach these skills in a fun and easy way. By the middle of the summer, our youngest campers are throwing, catching and hitting live pitching.
Our baseball leagues run throughout the summer and give every boy a chance to play games. We have playoffs for each age group.
Our facilities include 7 baseball fields: 2 major league, 4 little league and "Little Fenway."
