Under their guidance, Winadu has established itself as the premier, traditional boys sports camp
in the nation. Shelley has spent his entire life serving children, first as a teacher, then as
owner and director of an after school program, and later as owner/director of Camp Winadu.
During the summer, Shelley directs all aspects of the camp program. He knows every boy at Winadu, and every boy knows
that nothing is too small to bring to Shelley's attention.
Arleen oversees the camp office and directs all aspects of the camp's operations including transportation,
out of camp trips and information flow. Arleen is responsible for all parent communication, both during
the summer and in the off-season. She also is responsible for all camper and staff medical issues.
